Prime Minister at the Economic and Social Council session: Social dialogue is our commitment

Prime Minister Robert Golob of Slovenia participated in an extraordinary session of the Economic and Social Council (ESC) to address social dialogue. The Prime Minister emphasized that social dialogue is crucial for building a prosperous society and expressed the commitment of the government to this cause. Additionally, the social partners agreed to extend social dialogue to the legislative process, particularly for significant laws. The Prime Minister acknowledged the importance of social dialogue as a dynamic process and explained that certain circumstances may require the government to take prompt actions, such as meeting urgent deadlines for the adoption of specific laws related to the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. Prime Minister Golob expressed confidence in implementing best practices and improving legislative solutions in the upcoming year to benefit the people.
