Earlier today, a phone conversation took place between Prime Minister Robert Golob and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. During the call, Stoltenberg conveyed NATO's unwavering solidarity with Slovenia and its citizens following a massive national disaster of unprecedented scale.
In addressing the aftermath of this calamity, Secretary-General Stoltenberg underscored the potential resources available through the Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre (EADRCC), which serves as NATO's primary mechanism for civil emergency response in the Euro-Atlantic region.
Prime Minister Golob expressed deep gratitude for the extensive support received, particularly with regards to the imminent arrival of robust helicopters, a critical component of Slovenia's urgent relief requirements. This aid, alongside substantial engineering equipment, is of paramount importance for managing the current crisis.
